Your Money Journey
Start with the basics and work your way through.
You don't need to learn everything at once. 57 lessons across 8 categories, building from what money is through to the bigger financial world.
The same idea, explained at every age
Lessons aren't one-size-fits-all. The same concept gets more sophisticated as a child gets older.
The lessons teach the concept. Where possible, the game will eventually let kids experience it — for example, a lesson on interest could be followed by "You have $50 saved. What happens when you earn interest?" That connection is part of the plan, not something built yet.
Start Your Journey
A recommended beginner pathway through the first three categories. Work through it in order, or jump around — it's here to help, not to gate anything.

Lesson categories
All 57 lessons, organised in learning order. Start at the top of a category, or dip into any lesson directly.
Money Basics
The basic vocabulary of money — starting with what it even is.
Making Choices
Real scenarios for spending, saving and giving — not textbook definitions.
Earning Money
Connecting effort to income, with examples kids actually recognise.
Managing Money
Money coming in, money going out, and what's left over.
Banks & Digital Money
Introduced after physical money: a $1 coin, $1 in a bank account and $1 on a screen are all the same real money.
Borrowing & Debt
Using money now, and paying back more later — starting simple, then adding terminology.
Growing Money
Plain-language investing ideas — education only, not encouragement to trade real money.
The Bigger Financial World
Advanced topics, introduced gradually for older children.
Grounded in a real family approach
Alongside these lessons, MyKidsMoney is built around a real family's Spend, Save & Give system — $5 a week in $1 coins, physical jars, and goals the kids chose themselves.
